Human Development—Preschool through School Age is a semester course designed to develop skills in guiding and teaching children in the role of a parent and child care giver. Students will gain knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors associated with supporting and promoting optimal growth and development in preschool and school-age stages. Projects and activities focus on integrating the study of child development with the skills needed to provide a positive, nurturing environment.
