The Classical composers explored in this course were the "music celebrities" / "rock stars" of their time. In this course, students will recognize composers by their musical era and compositions, identify the characteristics of the classics from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, Classical, Nationalist and Contemporary musical eras, and correlate events in history with the evolution of the classics.
