Course Description

"Child Development and Parenting, Semester B is intended to help you familiarize yourself with
the various stages of child development as well as the factors that obstruct healthy
development of a child. This course has thirteen lessons organized into three units. Each unit
has a Unit Activity and each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. This course
explains the development, health, nutrition, and safety of children at various stages. In addition,
the course covers career opportunities in the field of childcare and development."
