Course Description
Algebra I, S1 is the first course in a two-semester sequence. In addition to a review of various equations, students focus on the understanding the processes involved in solving equations and modeling functions. Major concepts in this course include: measurement and proportions, expressions, one-variable equations, multi-step equations, functions, represent relationships, linear relationships, linear equations, modeling linear functions, inequalities, and absolute value equations and inequalities. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
