Course Description
This course explores the time period from the European Renaissance to present day. Students will explore and evaluate the interactions of world cultures, civilizations, philosophies, and religions. Students will also analyze cause and effect relationships that distinguish significant historical periods during this time period and identify significant people and events. This class includes a unit on turning points in human history. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 8 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
