Course Description
US History, semester 1 course explores the history of the United States from approximately 1820 and the sharp rise of Sectionalism to the start of the Cold War after WWII. Students will compare and contrast the social, political, and economic forces that impacted our nation during this time and identify significant people and events. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 8 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher. This is semester one of a two semester class.
