Course Description
Biology, S2 is a laboratory course in which living things and their processes are studied. In this second semester, the instructional focus is on scientific communication and the evolution of life. Through direct instruction videos, vocabulary activities and lab demonstrations, students will learn about taxonomy and ecology, as well as about the human body. Student understanding will be assessed through interactive lab exercises, quizzes, and tests. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
