Course Description
This course covers the language of geometry, use of geometric tools, and the development of reasoning and critical thinking skills. Students will apply these skills using proofs and properties of figures, and parallel and perpendicular lines. Students will use properties of figures to find lateral and surface area, volume, circumference, and perimeter. Students will apply patterns, ratios, trigonometry and similarity to determine congruency and measured properties of figures triangles, quadrilaterals, and polygons.
