CR00406 - Physical Science 03159 (S2)

Course Description
Physical Science is a combination of physics and general chemistry and is based on the South Dakota State Standards. Physics is the study of motion, forces, matter, and energy. General chemistry is the study of atoms, the Periodic Table of Elements and the interactions of matter. This class is designed to teach students to apply the laws, theories, and principles of Physical Science to everyday life. Inquiry activities provide students with an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to investigate physical systems and to understand the nature of science. Lab activities give students hands-on experience in experiments which emphasize laboratory safety and an active problem-solving approach.
