MA00446 - Pre Algebra 02051 (S2)
Course Description
This course covers basic principles of algebra, including number relationships and properties. Students will estimate and find solutions to application problems using algebraic equations, graphs, and functions. Students will apply properties of ratios, proportions and similarities to solve for indirect measurements, and estimate and solve application problems involving percents. Students will apply statistical analysis and data organization to describe data and predict probable outcomes in experimental and theoretical situations. This course also covers foundational Geometric properties of two- and three- dimensional figures. Students will apply geometry properties to find perimeter, volume, and area.
