Course Description
Physics, S1 is a science course that examines the relationship between matter and energy and how they interact. Units of study include: Introduction to Physics; Representing Motion; Accelerated Motion; Two-Dimensional Motion and Vectors; Forces and Laws of Motion; Work and Energy; Rotational Motion; Momentum and its Conservation; Circular Motion and Gravitation; Fluid Mechanics; and Thermal Energy. Each unit contains several chapters that are presented through vocabulary, direct instruction, lab lecture, lab assessment, practice, and a quiz. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
