Course Description
Physics, S2 builds on the topics introduced in physics S1 and investigates the physical phenomena and the theoretical models that are useful in understanding the interacting systems of the physical world. Units of study include: Vibrations and Waves; Sound; Light and Reflection; Refraction; Interference and diffraction; Static Electricity and Fields; Electric Currents and circuits; Magnetism; Electromagnetic Induction; Atomic Physics; and Subatomic Physics. Each unit contains several chapters that are presented through vocabulary, instruction, lab lecture, lab assessment, practice assignment, and a quiz. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
