Course Description
Precalculus, S1 is the first course in a two-semester sequence. This course, designed to prepare students for more advanced mathematical studies, has a heavy emphasis on functions. Major concepts in this course include: equations and inequalities, systems of equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, the nature of graphs, polynomial functions, rational functions, exponential functions, and conic sections. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
