Course Description
In this introductory personal finance course, students will learn what it takes to understand the world of finance and make informed decisions about managing personal finances. The course focuses on developing core skills that help students become more confident and successful in setting and reaching personal financial goals. Students will learn how to open bank accounts, invest money, apply for loans, apply for insurance, explore careers, manage business finances, make decisions about major purchases, and more.
The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is offered with teachers located in South Dakota.
