Course Description
Common Core Math 8 (S2) is the second course in a two-semester sequence. The course makes connections to previous mathematical knowledge and lays the foundation for introductory high school mathematics courses. Major concepts in this course include: algebraic approaches to linear systems, transformations, congruence and similarity, working with exponents, the Pythagorean Theorem, irrational numbers, and volume. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
