Course Description
Common Core Math 8 (S1) is the first course in a two-semester sequence. The course makes connections to previous mathematical knowledge as students study, solve, and model real world problems. Major concepts in this course include: input-output relationships, linear functions, writing equations for linear relationships, patterns in bivariate data, linear equations, and representing linear systems graphically. The online course also includes audio resources that can "read" content to students along with 17 different language translation options. This course is taught by a South Dakota based teacher.
