In this exploratory course in the area of Family and Consumer Science for 7th graders every student will be completing assignments in the following areas: interpreting food choice decisions which affect wellness, using space planning guidelines, summarize the importance of volunteerism, explain the different types of family structures and execute safe procedures in the food laboratory. The completion of this course meets one of the requirements for membership in the Vocational Student Organization; Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
